Touhenboku Ramen
Food - They do your standard ramen dishes well. It was tasty, portions were good, and the presentation was good. I can't complain. They definitely met my expectations.Service - Friendly, speedy, and hardworking. There was one girl taking all the orders during a busy lunch shift. Kudos to the staff.Ambiance - Clean, bright, and standard. Wood accents and comfortable seating. We came im winter and I'm guessing that's why their washroom was very cold. Overall, there is nothing to write about here.Accessibility - Getting in is tricky as they have such a narrow area. The Washroom is downstairs.Overall, I would recommend, good ramen

Touhenboku Ramen
I ordered the black garlic ramen and it was a very rich bowl to warm up during the cold winter days. I ordered a chili oil/sauce to help spice things up however it was not spicy at all. Personally I wouldn’t reorder this but that’s just me.Maybe I’ll try a different ramen next time.

Touhenboku Ramen
The food was okay, I got the rice with chicken: the flavour of the chicken was great, the rice was mid. Portion wise, it's not enough to fill you up if you're hungry, it's quite a small portion size. For the price, (if I remember it was CAD $8-something before tip, so around 10) I'd be able to get a larger portion from a burrito but that's not too comparable... Overall I wouldn't order this again, but there are no complaints about how it tastes.

Touhenboku Ramen
I got the black garlic ramen. Most of the broth is chicken based which is a nice alternative to pork. The ramen noodles were limp and not on the chewy side and the broth didn't have that strong chicken essence.The spicy karaage didn't taste like a Japanese karaage to me. It was battered fried chicken with a gochujang infused sauce.The ramen I ordered came with a good amount of toppings.The wait staff gave great customer service.

Touhenboku Ramen
Staff is okay,portion of ramen is massive you will definitely get more than full, but unfortunately you can’t really take that home.However, it’s the worst ramen in my entire life. I won’t even call it ramen. It’s kind of strange thin noddles and weird taste. You will need to drink a lot of water after eating 1/5 of it.if you have had reasonable ramen before, or if you know what ramen is , don’t try this.

Food came out fast, good attentive service. We ordered the black garlic creamy mushroom and spicy red miso ramen. Both were more on the saltier side. The mushroom ramen was labeled as thick noodles" but really just looked like normal noodles while the spicy miso ramen was labeled "thin noodles" and was the thinnest noodles we've tried. They also seem to have some cut back? Rather than the usual whole egg

I had the Sea Salt Ramen and Gyoza. Fast service and simple presentation. The ramen was exceptional - rich broth and heart portions of tender pork. Highly recommended them!

Touhenboku Ramen
Visited for dinner and ordered the black garlic miso ramen, spicy miso ramen and okonomiyaki. The flavours were very good and good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend!

Touhenboku Ramen
Wanted to get some sort of soup noodles for dinner so we decided to try Touhenboku tonight. Ordered the oyster tempura, karaage, black garlic miso with pork belly & thin noodles and a red spicy shoyu pork should and thick noodles.The oysters and karaage tasted great with light batter.The ramen was the opposite. Both broths were too salty and tasted more like a stew consistency. There was too much of a granular feel when having it with the noodles. Both pork belly and pork shoulder did not taste fresh and much too tough. Also our order with thick noodles came with thin noodles instead. Overall it was not a good experience.
